Ionic liquids are promising candidates for novel electrolytes as they possess large electrochemical and thermodynamic stability offer a high degree of tunability. As purely-ionic electrolyte without neutral solvent exhibit characteristic structures near electrified interfaces in the bulk, both being described theoretically via separate frameworks methodologies. We present holistic continuum theory applying to regions. This transport pure ionic liquids-mixtures allows systematic description evolution. In particular, dynamic bulk-transport effects interfacial can be studied. The is thermodynamically consistent describes multi-component solutions (ionic liquids, highly concentrated electrolytes, water-in-salt electrolytes). Here, we give detailed derivation focus on bulk processes appearing cells. addition, validate our framework zinc-ion battery based mixture ionic-liquid water electrolyte.
